However, instead of taking Interstate 15,&nbsp;the major highway connecting Southern California to Sin City, they took Google Maps' advice which suggested they take an alternate route, so as to avoid running into a dust storm that was causing major traffic jams ahead.&nbsp;

“We ironically thought it would be a safer option, and it did say it would be 50 minutes faster. It was our first time driving to/from Vegas, so we didn't know that you can really only take the I-15 back and forth," she added.

In a now-viral video that Easler posted on TikTok, a trail of cars could be seen following their car, suggesting they all had been led into the vast, arid landscape of the desert by Google.&nbsp;

“The first driver that turned around talked to us to tell us that the road gets washed out the higher into the mountain you get, and we have to turn around since the path leads nowhere.&nbsp;He was in a huge truck and was just driving straight through the bushes and shrubs to let people know to turn around,” Easler said.

Upon realising they were lost, the group&nbsp;dialled 911 but were told that the officials were bust with the dust storm on I-15. Eventually, they called the tow truck company which arrived on the spot and assisted Easler's car as well as others who were stuck there.

“The tow truck came around 5 pm, so we were pretty much stuck there the entire afternoon,” Easler said.&nbsp;

The off-roading had taken a toll on the car and the group had to leave it in Las Vegas. According to Easler, the&nbsp;rear&nbsp;and right tire were on the verge of coming off. In the end, the detour proved to be quite an expensive affair for the group which had already spent a considerable sum of money in attending the Grand Prix.&nbsp;

Netizens had a funny reaction to the incident with many drawing parallels to the episode of the hit TV series "The Office" where the lead character was led into a lake while driving the car.&nbsp;

The Arabic remake of the BAFTA and Golden Globe award-winning comedy series is titled 'Al Maktab' and will entirely be shot in Saudi Arabia.&nbsp;

Italy's Alessandro Martella has been roped in as the director of photography, while Egypt's Hisham Fathi will direct the Arabic version.&nbsp;

The shoot of MBC Studios will go on the floor from June, wherein it is said that the BBC Studios International team will be giving input during the shoot.&nbsp;

A spokesperson for BBC Studios said that though the way of working in the office in 2022 is different, the resemblance with the familiar characters as they explore moments of trivial rivalries, friendliness, and hilarity, and a boss who at times becomes the joke, still resonates today.

He believes that the audiences in the Middle East and the Gulf will show the same kind of love for the Arabic version as the David Brent original received in the U.K.

While in talks with a magazine, Greg Daniels said, "'The Office' is about a group of people trying to work together with mutual respect despite the inappropriate actions of their boss and assistant manager," said Danials.&nbsp;

"The show employed satire to expose unacceptable behaviour and deliver a message of inclusion. Today we cut a shot of an actor wearing blackface that was used to criticize a specific racist European practice," he further added. 
 
He also apologised for the pain caused by the scene, and also admitted putting up blackface for a comedy purpose is unacceptable and making the point so graphically is hurtful and wrong.

The sitcom is currently streaming on Netflix. Now the re-edited episode will replace the previous version.&nbsp;The&nbsp;sitcom depicts the everyday lives of office employees in the Scranton, Pennsylvania, branch of the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. It aired on NBC from March 24, 2005, to May 16, 2013, lasting a total of nine seasons.

"So Steve, this week marked a huge anniversary for you and I. We were on a little show called `The Office` and it turned 15 years old this week," Krasinski said. The actor was a 23-year-old waiter when he had shot the pilot episode. 
 
"It`s such a happy surprise that after all these years people are still tuning in and finding it today, it`s pretty cool," Steve Carell said. 
 
The segment also showed a few bloopers and memories from the series as Carell said, "I think most of the memories have to do with things that we shared as a cast. When we were doing Fun Run and it was about 105 degrees outside." 
 
Looking back at their time together, Carell added, "some of the most fun memories, personally or professionally, are intertwined and connected with that show." 
 
The hugely-popular comedy debuted in March 2005 and ran for nine seasons before ending in 2013. It has since then been adapted in various countries in different languages.
