In season 3, she will be seen as Munna Bhaiya’s widow. She was last seen in <em>Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo</em>, which was directed by Homi Adajania. It also stars Dimple Kapadia as Savitri, who runs a drug cartel, supported by her daughters-in-law – Angira Dhar and Isha and daughter, played by Radhika Madan.</p>

<p>Bollywood director Rohit Shetty was rushed to Kamineni Hospital on Saturday after he sustained an&nbsp;injury on his hand during the shoot of&nbsp;his&nbsp;much-anticipated web series 'Indian Police Force'. The director and his team were shooting in Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City when the incident took place. He underwent minor surgery, post which he was discharged from the medical facility, according to the news agency IANS.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Some&nbsp;sources informed the publication that&nbsp;Shetty sustained the injury while shooting a car chase sequence for the web series. A&nbsp;huge set is said to have been erected for&nbsp;some high-octane action and stunt scenes.</p>

<p>Back in May last year, Sidharth Malhotra,&nbsp;who plays the lead character in the Amazon Prime Video series,&nbsp;sustained a minor injury during the shoot&nbsp;in Goa. Sharing a picture of his wound along with a video, the actor wrote on Instagram,&nbsp;"#RohitShetty action hero equals genuine sweat and blood! <p>Ever since the audience saw a glimpse of her in the trailer of Rohit Shetty's 'Cirkus', they were eagerly waiting for the song to release. Deepika's short cameo in the trailer as well had broken the internet and the song is all set to do the same.&nbsp;</p>

<p>'Cirkus' is based on the 1982&nbsp;film 'Angoor', which was itself a remake of the 1968&nbsp;film 'Do Dooni Chaar'. According to the film's synopsis, the movie is about a "circus operator and his gymnast friends belonging to a big circus company 'juggle' with their lives and try to bring back the extinct circus culture to the public".</p>

<p>On Monday morning, the makers of the film dropped the official teaser of the period comedy-drama film online and revealed the release date of its trailer, which is December 2.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Further, in the 59-second-long clip,&nbsp;it was revealed that the film is set in the 1960s and that the film will hit theatres during Christmas time.</p>

<p>One can`t imagine Rohit Shetty`s projects sans action. His OTT debut 'Indian Police Force' will also be filled with loads of action sequences. On Monday, Rohit dropped a BTS video from the sets of 'Indian Police Force', which stars Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The clip shows Rohit holding a camera weighing 27 kilos and running around the boat as he shot Sidharth fighting goons. "It`s weird how glass breaks, body hits &amp; staircase falls are normal for us!... By the way, the camera weighs 27 kgs," Rohit captioned the post.</p>

Shetty said he has been working on the script of&nbsp;'Indian Police Force' for many years.<br />

"I'm delighted to be collaborating with Amazon Prime Video to breathe life into this story which will transcend geographies and linguistic barriers, providing me an opportunity to showcase the same to audiences worldwide," the 49-year-old filmmaker said in a statement.<br />

The eight-part series marks the digital debut of Shetty, also known for directing popular comedy film series like the 'Golmaal' franchise. The show also is the first OTT project of Malhotra, whose last release 'Shershaah' premiered on Prime Video in August 2021 and earned raved reviews.&nbsp;<br />

Reportedly, the producers of the film demanded a 60 per cent revenue share in the first week and also wanted theatre owners to provide a maximum number of shows to 'Sooryavanshi'.<br />

Thankfully, the stalemate between multiplex chains and the producers of `Sooryavanshi`, Reliance Entertainment finally ended.<br />

While his domestic life is not hunky-dory, at work he is given a mission to nab some of the key members of terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba who are planning an attack on Mumbai and conduct a series of blasts across the city - in a similar fashion as the 1993 blasts that had rocked the city. Kumar and his team of extremely well-built men have limited time to thwart a calamity of gigantic proportion but when has time constraint been a problem for our Bollywood hero.&nbsp;<br />

The film plays to the gallery from the beginning, stereotypes most Muslim characters and starts blaming the neighbour country almost from the start of the film. Just when you settle down to watch a nationalistic, anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan film, Shetty flips the narrative and tries to show some 'good', honest and patriotic Muslim characters. If there are four scenes where the film bashes a certain community, it quickly tries to correct itself in the next two scenes- explaining that how the film is not anti-religion but anti-terrorism. It's like they are almost trying to justify their jingoistic narrative with constant harping of how unified our country is.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
Akshay Kumar looks fit but slightly uninterested in the film. He appears weary, tired in many of the scenes and not in his usual elements. Surprising, because he gets to perform high-octane stunts. He hangs from helicopters and jumps off buildings and speeding cars yet Kumar's performance appears slightly jaded. He looks tired and he is not in his usual elements. The film's leading lady Katrina Kaif usually huffs and puffs in anger or appears sexy and beautiful serenading the hero in songs. There's isn't much for her to do in a Rohit Shetty film and we aren't surprised.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
Rohit Shetty sticks to basics. He has his characters breaking into random Marathi on and off, blows of cars and buses, and even gets a tanker in the end. But unlike his previous films, 'Sooryavanshi' meanders too much around the main plot. Till the interval, the film lacks thrills and is quite -dare-I-say- boring. It doesn't help that the film has an extremely jarring background score which can make you go deaf by the end.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
The real action begins when Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn join in during the climax playing their cop avatars Simbaa and Singham respectively. Singh hams through his part but still brings in the laughs while Devgn gets to bash the goons in his signature style. It is a delight to watch the three actors together- especially the two action heroes of the 1990s- play their old selves on screen, performing mind-numbing stunts, and bashing up the bad guys.&nbsp;</p>

This was done at the time when most theatres across the country were running on 50% occupancy.&nbsp;<br />

It was later announced that the film would be getting a theatrical release during Diwali, However, it was announced on Thursday that the film will be releasing during the festival time. The film has been co-produced by Reliance Studio and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.<br />

The studio had announced in June this year that the film will hit the theatres on Diwali, while their another release Ranveer Singh's '83' will arrive on Christmas.<br />

Though the theatres are still shut across the country, they are expected to reopen from October 15 after the Union Home Ministry permitted cinemas and multiplexes to resume operations with up to 50 per cent of their seating capacity.<br />
<br />
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will be issuing a standard operating procedure (SOP) for cinemas soon.<br />
CEO of Reliance Entertainment Shibashish Sarkar is happy with the government's decision but he is still unsure whether all the theatres will be operational by October 15.<br />

Given the uncertainty, Sarkar said it is not practically possible to release 'Sooryavanshi' on Diwali.<br />

"One thing is clear, we are not releasing any film on Diwali. No other decision has been taken. It is not possible to release a film on Diwali now. As of now, all cinema houses are not opening from October 15. Even if it opens on November 1, how can you release a film in 10 or 15 days notice period?" he told a news agency.<br />

He said the makers are yet to take a call on the new release date of the Rohit Shetty-directed film.<br />
<br />
"We are not sure whether we will change both 'Sooryavanshi' or '83' or we will just shift one film. It is definitely clear December to March is the time (to release films), this is the realistic timeline," he added.<br />

'Sooryavanshi' is the third film in Shetty's cop universe after Ajay Devgn's 'Singham' and Ranveer Singh-starrer 'Simmba'. The film also features Katrina Kaif and Devgn and Singh have cameo appearances.<br />

<p>The 2017 film ‘Golmaal Again’ was a hit among masses as it carried the usual flair of Rohit Shetty’s film.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Wednesday, Rohit Shetty shared the news on his Instagram. He shared the popular poster of the film and wrote, "As it is rightly said - The show must go on."&nbsp;</p>

<p>The film ‘Golmaal Again’ stars Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade, and Johnny Lever. It also featured some new faces to the franchise like Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Prakash Raj and Neil Nitin Mukesh.</p>

<p>Rohit Shetty, in his post, wrote: "New Zealand decides to re-release Golmaal Again in theatres making it the first Hindi film to get a re-launch post COVID. New Zealand is now COVID free and is opening its theatres on June 25 with Golmaal Again."</p>

The film ‘Golmaal Again’ stars Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade, and Johnny Lever. It also featured some new faces to the franchise like Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Prakash Raj and Neil Nitin Mukesh.
