The state government will implement the 'Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam' scheme in the state from August 15, 2025. Under this, women belonging to self-help groups (SHGs) will be able to plant a garden of fruit trees on their land. The cost of preparing this garden will be done by the state government.&nbsp;Under the 'Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam' scheme, fruit orchards will be developed by cultivating 30 lakh horticultural crops for livelihood generation at an expense of around Rs 900 crore on 30 thousand acres of land of 30 thousand women belonging to self-help groups at the state level.&nbsp;The women applicants included under this scheme should have land between from half an acre to one acre. Women in whose households property is in the name of father, husband or father-in-law will be able to pant a garden in this scheme on the basis of their consent letter. 50 fruit plants will be grown in half an acre. Money will be provided by the state government under MNREGA for digging pits and buying plants.&nbsp;The government will also supply wire fencing for protecting plants, a 50 thousand liter water tank for irrigation, upkeep for 3 years and organic manure. A grant of approximately 3 lakh rupees will be provided within three years for the building of a garden. Panchayat and Rural Development Department's National Rural Livelihood Mission has been entrusted with the work of selecting the eligible beneficiaries. Application for this will be accepted up to July 15, 2025. Women beneficiaries will be chosen through the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' app. The government has made a decision to include only 30 thousand women under this scheme in the first year. 100 women beneficiaries will be chosen in each block.&nbsp;In this project, land and plant selection will be scientifically carried out using SIPRI software. So that the right plants can be chosen based on the nature of the soil and weather. A complaint was filed with the NHRC by a local resident, Deepak Tiwari, who alleged that the accused, identified as Narendra Vikramaditya Yadav, impersonated a renowned UK cardiologist, Professor John Camm. Yadav claimed to have foreign qualifications and had been treating patients in the hospital&rsquo;s cardiology department for the past one-and-a-half months.

The complaint said that several patients have died at the hospital between January and February after receiving incorrect treatment provided by an unqualified and unauthorised doctor in the cardiology department of Damoh's Mission Hospital. It added that the hospital, which is part of the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana, misused the government funds.&nbsp;
Damoh collector Sudhir Kochar confirmed receiving a complaint regarding the matter. He added that an investigation is currently underway and further action will be taken based on the findings.

Local legislator Gayatri Raje Puar of the Bharatiya Janata Party met with Gehlot over the punishment meted out to the youth.&nbsp;
"These young men were celebrating India's victory just like the rest of the country. They are not habitual offenders, and the act of publicly parading them in such a manner is completely unjustified."

When the incident happend, the plane had taken off from Adampur in Punjab and was on its way to Agra for an exercise.
"A MiG-29 aircraft of the IAF crashed near Agra during a routine training sortie today, after encountering a system malfunction. The pilot manoeuvred the aircraft to ensure no damage to life or property on the ground, before ejecting safely. An inquiry has been ordered by the IAF to ascertain the cause of the accident", the Air Force had said in a statement.

In a shocking and disturbing incident, a dispute between two brothers took an ominous turn when they insisted on cutting the body of their father, who died of natural causes, into two parts to perform separate cremations.
The incident took place in Tal Lidhora, a small village in Madhya Pradesh, according to a TOI report. The dispute arose between the two brothers, Damodar Singh and Kishan Singh, after the demise of their 85-year-old father, Dhyani Singh Ghosh, on Sunday (Feb 2).

Concerned by how the events were unfolding, some villagers alerted the police about the unusual dispute between the brothers, as the body of their father had been lying outside the house for nearly five hours.
According to the police, Damodar had cared for their ailing father, who died of natural causes. He was preparing for the last rites when Kishan arrived with his family, insisting on performing them himself.

A heated argument broke out between the two brothers, who fought over who would perform the cremation of their father. It was then that Kishan came up with a bizarre solution, suggesting they divide the body of their father into two so that they can both perform the rituals separately, according to media reports.
Despite pleas from relatives and villagers, Kishan refused to budge and left the body of his father outside the house, after which the villagers approached the police.

The police arrived at the scene to resolve the matter and decided that Damodar would perform the last rites after consulting with the family, ending the dispute.&nbsp;
Kishan and his family, on the other hand, attended the cremation under the supervision of the police.

He was preparing for the last rites when Kishan arrived with his family, insisting on performing them himself. It was then that Kishan came up with a bizarre solution, suggesting they divide the body of their father into two so that they can both perform the rituals separately, according to media reports. Despite pleas from relatives and villagers, Kishan refused to budge and left the body of his father outside the house, after which the villagers approached the police. A promising young Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, Harsh Bardhan, aged 26, tragically died in a road accident on Sunday while travelling to assume his first posting in Hassan district&nbsp;of&nbsp;Karnataka state.&nbsp;

The incident occurred as Bardhan, a 2023-batch IPS officer from Madhya Pradesh, was on his way to his first posting in Hassan to begin his duties as a probationary Assistant Superintendent of Police.

According to police reports, the accident occurred when a tyre of the police vehicle he was travelling in reportedly burst, causing the driver to lose control. The 40-year-old woman was seen roaming semi-naked on the streets.&nbsp;

The man, Sahil Soni, was arrested after the incident was allegedly captured on CCTV footage.&nbsp;

Indore Additional DCP Zone-1 Alok Sharma said that the incident occurred on Tuesday and was reportedly recorded on CCTV.

The accused is originally from Sagar and he allegedly lured the woman to a secluded area and raped her.&nbsp;

The Additional DCP&nbsp;said that the police were alerted by a child who spotted a naked woman wandering in Neelkanth Colony around 3:45 am (local time)&nbsp;on Tuesday, News18 reported.&nbsp;

Sharma added that a patrolling sub-inspector reached the spot and took the woman to MY Hospital in an ambulance.&nbsp;

He said that Sonu was arrested while he was wearing the same clothes as spotted in the CCTV footage.&nbsp;

The suspect, Sonu, was produced before a local court on Wednesday (Oct 23)&nbsp;and was remanded in judicial custody.

According to the investigation, the woman had "walked for about half a kilometre without clothes after being assaulted", a police officer said.&nbsp;

Later, during the investigation,&nbsp;Sonu confessed to being under the influence of drugs on Monday evening. He further said that when he tried to leave, the woman, followed him.&nbsp;
