At the same time, the best memory, was when I received the maiden India cap from my captain was a wonderful feeling. <em>Bowling that first over, that was the most important moment of my life</em>. "I always dreamt of playing for the country. In 1997, the first time I saw the Women`s World Cup final at Eden Gardens, it was between Australia and New Zealand," she added."I was a ball girl for that match, and then I dreamt that I might represent my country for the first time. That is how I started, representing the country is the biggest moment of my life," she further added.</p>

<p>Jhulan remains one of the pioneers of women's cricket in India, along with Mithali Raj. Her knack for chipping in with wickets at crunch situations, bowling the tough overs, and spearheading the bowling unit for such a long time stands out. She is known for her pace, accuracy and will go down as one of the legends in women's cricket (with most ODI wickets and most scalps in 50-over World Cup as well -- 43). <p>Ruth Strauss Foundation was established by former England captain Andrew Strauss after his wife, Ruth, passed away at the age of 46 in 2018 from a non-smoking lung cancer.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The aim of the foundation aims to raise awareness about the non-smoking lung cancers and also raise funds for research. The foundation also offers emotional support to bereaved families.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Ganguly took to social media to share a collage of some old pictures of him at Lord's as a player, as a captain and then as an administrator. On his Instagram account, Ganguly wrote, "Came here as player first in 1996 ..and then as captain..enjoyed the game at lord's today as an administrator...india was and is in a good position all the times ..this game of cricket is majestic."</p>

<p>Ganguly enjoys fond memories of Lord's after making his debut in 1996 with scoring a century against England. Apart from this, who can forget the famous shirt-waving incident on the Lord's balcony when Ganguly stole the limelight as took off his shirt to celebrate India's win in the final of the Natwest Trophy in 2002.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The close proximity of a number of hospitals to Lord's gives the Club the opportunity to assist medical staff so they can concentrate on their ongoing battle against the virus," the MCC said in media release.</p>

<p>The club has provided 75 car parking spaces for NHS staff at the nearby Wellington Hospital, University College Hospital, and the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth.<br />

<p>Marnus Labuschagne made history as international cricket's first concussion substitute before his valuable fifty helped Australia draw the second Ashes Test against England at Lord's on Sunday.</p>

<p>Labuschagne was not confirmed as playing until Sunday morning when Australia star Steve Smith was ruled out with concussion, having been hit by a Jofra Archer bouncer during his 92 on Saturday.</p>

<p>Previously, a substitute would only have been permitted to field.</p>

<p>But this series is the first in the ICC's inaugural World Test Championship featuring new rules that allow replacement players to bat or bowl if they are covering for concussed team-mates.</p>

<p>Labuschagne, in just his sixth Test, responded to his late call-up by top-scoring with 59, having been hit on the grille of his helmet second ball by a 91.6 mph Archer bouncer, in Australia's eventual second-innings 154-6.</p>

<p>"Marnus played superbly," said Australia captain Tim Paine.</p>

<p>"He got hit hard in the face second ball and I thought he showed great character, great skill and technique."</p>

<p>England pressed hard late on to level the series at 1-1 after captain Joe Root declared to set Australia a stiff target of 267 in 48 overs following Ben Stokes's 115 not out.</p>

<p>"I think it was important that we bounced back strongly and I think we've certainly done that," said Root.</p>

<p>Given the short turnaround, Smith, out for under a hundred for the first time this series on Saturday, could now miss the third Test in Leeds starting on Thursday.</p>

<p>His absence would be a huge blow to Australia, bidding for their first Ashes series win in England in 18 years, given he made 144 and 142 at Edgbaston in his first Test since completing a 12-month ban for his role in a ball-tampering scandal in South Africa.</p>

<p>"I'm not sure about Headingley," said Paine.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"He (Smith) will need to improve, there's no doubt about that. Hopefully for our sake he does."</p>

<p>Later Sunday, Cricket Australia said: "Steve Smith had a precautionary scan of his neck on Sunday which, as expected, cleared him of any structural damage.</p>

<p>"After the scan Steve returned to the team hotel to rest and he will continue to be reviewed on an ongoing basis."</p>

<p>Smith was in sight of his third successive Ashes hundred when, on 80, he turned his head away from an express delivery from England fast bowler Archer timed at 92.4 mph.</p>

<p>The star batsman fell face forward onto the ground and received several minutes of on-field treatment involving both Australian and England medical staffs amid concerns he could be concussed.</p>

<p>He eventually got to his feet and then, after a prolonged conversation with Australia team doctor Richard Saw, decided to retire hurt with Smith receiving a generous round of applause as he walked back into the pavilion.</p>
