<p>Tesla shares on Thursday dropped by over 12 per cent after Musk cautioned that the sales growth would go down despite slashing the prices that have already caused a dent in the margins of the world's most valuable automaker.</p>

<p>Musk on Wednesday said that growth would be "notably lower" as Tesla shifts its focus on making cheaper next-generation electric vehicles at its Texas factory in the second half of 2025.</p>

<p>However, he said that speeding up the production of the new model would pose challenges as it would involve the latest technologies.</p>

<p>"The Tesla headlines have essentially gone from bad to worse," said TD Cowen analysts, noting that the fourth-quarter revenue and profit were also below expectations.</p>

<p>"The problem for Tesla is any significant attempt to boost sales from here on will probably need to be achieved at the cost of further falls in operating margin, due to having to compete with BYD in China, as well as increased competition elsewhere," said Michael Hewson, chief market analyst at CMC Markets.</p>

Musk said in a post that it was absurd the most populous country on the planet is not fairly represented at the UN body. He added that Africa should also have a collective seat at the UN.</p>

<p>“At some point, there needs to be a revision of the UN bodies. Problem is that those with excess power don’t want to give it up,” Musk wrote in the post.</p>

<p>A regional official with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has charged SpaceX with violating the workers' rights to join forces and advocate for better working conditions, a fundamental right protected by federal labour law.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a letter circulated by the employees in June 2022, they focused on Musk's posts on X, formerly Twitter, since 2020, some of which were deemed sexually suggestive.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The NLRB complaint goes beyond the terminations, accusing SpaceX of subjecting employees to interrogations about the letter, disparaging those involved, and issuing threats of termination for similar activities.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As per Reuters, SpaceX is yet to comment on these allegations.</p>

<p>SpaceX now has the option of settling. However, if it chooses to not settle, the case will be heard by an administrative judge, with the hearing scheduled for March 5. If the NLRB finds that the job terminations violated labour law, it can order reinstatement of the fired employees and grant them back pay. Furthermore, if the rocket and satellite maker is found in violation, it could also face steeper penalties in future cases before the board.</p>
