Netizens seem to have found evidence to support the theory that Donald Trump wears shoulder pads under his suit to appear stronger and healthier than he is. The US President held a UFC cage match on the White House’s South Lawn to celebrate his 80th birthday. Nearly 4,300 guests attended, including Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg. Trump got pictures taken with Australian-Samoan boxer Jai Opetaia, and these photos have now become a talking point on social media. The photos were shared by the boxer on his Instagram with the caption, "Me and uncle Don." In one of them, they are shaking hands, and Trump is smiling.

The second photo has Opetaia’s left hand on Trump’s shoulder, clearly showing it pressing into something thick. Some people think that they are shoulder pads placed inside his suit, as a similar dent would not happen if it were the actual top of the shoulder. “Pressing so hard on his fake shoulders. You made him look weak," a person wrote on social media. Another commented, "Did you pose like that intentionally to show how weak and fake his shoulders are?” People think Trump is wearing shoulder pads to give the appearance that he still stands tall and is stronger.

Also Read: Donald Trump's medical checkup involved 22 doctors, setting a White House record

The speculations about Trump using shoulder pads have been going on for a long time now.

Trump's 80th birthday celebration at the White House

The occasion also marked the 250th anniversary of the United States’ independence. The UFC is said to have spent about $60 million. This includes $700,000 for grass repairs on the South Lawn. Every single match on the 7-fight main card ended in a stoppage. After the event, UFC CEO Dana White said it was a "one-of-one" experience, and the promotion will "never again" host a fight night at the White House because of the extreme logistical and security hurdles linked to building an open-air Octagon.

Does the American President Donald Trump wear shoulder pads? Australian-Samoan boxer Jai Opetaia was at the UFC match held at the White House on Donald Trump's 80th birthday. He placed his hand on Trump's shoulder and almost confirmed a speculation.

In the past, an eagle-eyed netizen noticed that his suits weren't normal near the shoulder. "Why is Trump wearing ’80s-sized women’s shoulder pads? He looks ridiculous," a user wrote after seeing a video of Trump from the Oval Office.

Citing a Justice Department source familiar with the matter, AFP reported that the investigations were not initiated by senior officials in Washington but originated roughly a year ago in California's Eastern District following information provided by whistleblowers. The source told the news agency that investigators were focused on "tax activity" involving Siebel Newsom as well as activities connected to Newsom's former chief of staff and possibly some current aides. The development follows the guilty plea of Dana Williamson, a former Newsom chief of staff, who admitted in May to bank fraud, wire fraud and other felony offences linked to a position she held before joining the governor's administration. But Newsom is not buying the Justice Department's explanation. Trump trying to take out competition? In a statement released Tuesday, the Democratic governor argued that the administration was attempting to distance Trump from an investigation that had become politically controversial. "Note DOJ's specific and consistent use of the word 'originated' in their anonymous media statements yesterday," the statement said. A familiar transatlantic dispute is back in the spotlight. US President Donald Trump has once again threatened to impose a 100% tariff on French wine, reviving a trade battle that previously strained relations between Washington and Paris. The remarks come as Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron meet during the G7 Summit, adding a fresh layer of tension to discussions already focused on global trade, security and economic cooperation. The renewed warning has put French exporters and international markets on alert.

US President Donald Trump warned that “all hell will rain down” on Iran if it seeks a nuclear weapon. He said any future deal must ensure Tehran never acquires one. Iran, however, continues to insist its nuclear programme is peaceful despite concerns over its uranium stockpile.

US President Donald Trump warned on Tuesday that “all hell will rain down” on Iran if it attempts to procure a nuclear weapon. Referring to the agreement with Tehra, Trump said that his primary concern is ensuring that Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon, adding that the ‌proposed agreement makes that objective unmistakably clear. According to several media reports, Iran has long maintained that its nuclear program is intended for peaceful purposes and has not publicly committed to surrendering its stockpile of enriched uranium. It is believed to be buried under three nuclear facilities that suffered extensive damage after the US launched strikes last year. Trump is also under considerable political pressure to secure a stronger agreement than the one he abandoned during his first term. In 2018, he withdrew the United States from the 2015 nuclear accord negotiated under former President Barack Obama.
What’s the controversy around the card?

Donald Trump allegedly sent a card to Epstein in 2003 when the latter turned 50. Jimmy Kimmel has once again taken a jab at US President Donald Trump on his 80th birthday. The comedian shared a satirical birthday card that had similarities to the card that Trump had allegedly sent to Epstein on his 50th birthday.

It was US President Donald Trump’s birthday on June 14, and comedian and late-night show host Jimmy Kimmel obviously had to wish his favourite subject of jokes. Fans of Kimmel would know that the comedian and Trump have had a long-running public feud with both being critical of each other. Jimmy Kimmel's birthday card for Donald Trump On Sunday, as Trump turned 80, Kimmel shared a satirical birthday card on Instagram that appeared to mimic a controversial card which Trump had allegedly sent to financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on his 50th birthday in 2003. “Happy 80th, Donald! A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday, and may every day be another wonderful secret,” the parody card read. Kimmel captioned the post, “Happy #80,” and tagged Trump's official Instagram account. The alleged birthday card closely resembled the alleged Epstein birthday card, but with some changes. In his card, Kimmel replaced Epstein's name with Trump's and swapped the original illustration of a slender female silhouette with a caricature seemingly mocking the president's physique.

For months, U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that a peace agreement with Iran was just around the corner.

According to multiple analyses tracking his public statements, Trump has declared an imminent U.S.-Iran deal at least 38 times since March 2026. Yet despite repeated promises of a breakthrough, Tehran continues to insist that no final, binding agreement has been approved.

The latest episode followed Trump's decision to cancel threatened military strikes while simultaneously claiming that negotiations were nearing completion. Iranian officials quickly pushed back, saying key issues remain unresolved and no final text has been signed
