But for the last three to four months, she started moving away from the accused. Sakshi broke up with Sahil nine days back. Accused suspected victim was getting involved with ex-boyfriend: Cops The Delhi Police said that Sahil suspected that Sakshi was getting involved with her ex-boyfriend Praveen. "The statements by him are being verified. Sometimes he says she ignored him which angered him. But he also suspected that Sakshi was getting involved with her former boyfriend," an officer told PTI. The police said that Sakshi was with Praveen for three to four years before she was in a relationship with Sahil. The accused claimed that Sakshi was keen to get back with Praveen since he had a motorcycle, the police added. Last Saturday, Sakshi warned Sahil to stay away from her. Following the party, they both returned to their shared flat, where they kept drinking. Once there, the fight was reignited and things got heated up and the disagreement turned into a scuffle, during which Sapna stabbed Rani in the chest using a kitchen knife.

Reportedly, Rani abusing Sapna's dead father was the trigger for the assault and the murder.

Upon reaching the spot, police found Sapna sitting next to Rani's body, which was lying in a pool of blood. Sapna, as per the Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi, has confessed to the crime. A postmortem of Rani's body will be done, following which it'll be handed to her loved ones.

"Teams of FSL and crime have inspected the spot. We have registered a case of murder under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. Based on the investigation, the accused Sapna was arrested after she confessed to her crime. Efforts are being taken to recover the weapon of offence," said Kalsi.

The entire incident has been recorded on a CCTV camera. Sahil can be seen stabbing the girl more than 20 times as people walk&nbsp;past him,&nbsp;witnessing&nbsp;the gruesome incident.&nbsp;

The girl was seen collapsing to the ground. The chilling video later shows the culprit hitting her body repeatedly with&nbsp;a slab of stone.&nbsp;In the video, he was seen walking off the crime scene, only to return within seconds to hit the girl again, who appeared to be in an unconscious state or some reports mentioned that by that time, she was already dead.&nbsp;

Deputy Commissioner of Police Suman Nalwa told news agency ANI: "We have arrested the accused - Sahil - from Bulandshahr (in) Uttar Pradesh. He used to work as a mechanic for AC and refrigerators. Further investigation is underway… we will make sure the maximum punishment is given to the accused."&nbsp;

Walkar, in the audio clip could be heard saying, "whenever I start ranting about my anger, if he is somewhere around, anywhere in Vasai (near Mumbai), anywhere around me in this…city, he will find me, he will hunt me down, he will try to kill me, that's… the problem," reported PTI news agency quoting Walkar purpotedly as saying in the audio clip.&nbsp;

“I don't know (how) many times he tried to kill me -- this is not the first time he tried to kill me... The way he grabbed my neck, I blacked out. I was unable to breathe for 30 seconds... Thankfully I was able to defend myself by pulling his hair," she added.&nbsp;

As the clip played in the court, Shraddha's father Vikas Walkar was also present in the premises during the proceedings.&nbsp;

Walkar was transported back in time and felt like his daughter was still breathing and very much alive. It shook him to core listening to his daughter revealing all the minute and very disturbing details of her relationship with her boyfriend.&nbsp;

As Vikas Walkar, complainant in the Shraddha Walkar murder case, stepped out of the court, he told reporters, “We request for the proceedings to be conducted in a time-bound manner in a fast-track court."&nbsp;

“In a few months, it will be an entire year of my daughter's death. When will I get the remains to complete her last rites?” Vikas questioned.&nbsp;

The police sent the mitochondrial DNA report&nbsp;of the samples found in the forest area to the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting Diagnostic (CDFD) in Hyderabad. &nbsp;The sample had matched that of the victim's father and brother, the Delhi Police said.

The next course of action for the Delhi Police would be to file a chargesheet in the regional Saket Court in the national capital against the accused, along with the 164 recorded statements of the witnesses, including over 50 friends of Shraddha.

According to the police, woman reportedly had insinuations that her husband was indulged in an extramarital affair. When Poonam discovered that her husband had sold her jewellery and sent the proceeds to his first wife, who resided in Bihar with their eight children, she allegedly became outraged, according to the police.

Poonam allegedly conspired to kill her husband with the help of her son from a previous marriage. Poonam's ex-husband reportedly died of cancer in 2017. Deepak reportedly agreed to the to help Poonam in executing the hatched plot because Das allegedly harassed his wife.

After allegedly killing her husband, both mother and son, Poonam and Dipak, chopped up Das's body parts into 10 pieces. Later, to hide the crime, they stored the pieces in the fridge just like Aaftab Poonawala in Delhi Shraddha murder case. Poonam and Dipak later disposed them off Das's body parts across several parts in east Delhi.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"Henceforth, I am not willing to live with him, so any kind of physical damage should be considered coming from him as he has been blackmailing me to kill me or hurt me whenever he sees me anywhere," she concluded in the complaint.&nbsp;

Responding over the matter, Maharashtra Police on Wednesday reportedly said that they had begun the investigation into the complaint filed by Shraddha however the case was closed after she gave a written statement to withdraw the case. Suhas Bavache, DCP of Mira Bhayandar-Vasai Virar (MBVV) Commissionerate reportedly said that Shraddha Walkar in her written statement wrote that the dispute between herself and Aaftab Poonawala was resolved.

The accused had allegedly bought a 300-litre fridge to keep the victim's body in at least 35 pieces. According to police sources cited in media, Poonawala was a trained chef from a private institute in Mumbai where he was also reportedly trained in cutting meat. It supposedly took him two days to cut Walker’s body and Poonawala claims that he did it with a hacksaw with multiple blades.&nbsp;

However, the police are yet to recover the tool allegedly used to commit the crime. Furthermore, the accused claims that after “chopping the body”, he “washed the blood from them and stuffed them in some plastic bags.” Reportedly, all these plastic bags were then kept in the fridge. &nbsp;&nbsp;

The 28-year-old would then step out of the house around 2 am to dispose off the victim’s body one part at a time in the Mehrauli forest and surrounding areas, said media reports. The police reportedly said that during this time, Poonawala would burn incense sticks to keep the foul smell away and wipe the floor with detergent. &nbsp;

“After almost two three months, he discarded the head and the torso,” said a police officer to the Indian Express. Meanwhile, the accused reportedly had also researched human anatomy, Googled ways to clean human blood from the floor with some chemicals, and disposed off the stained clothes.&nbsp;

The local police have also claimed that the accused disclosed that weeks after the alleged murder he became active on the dating app Bumble through which he had met Walker, and even started dating another girl and had even visited the apartment where Walker had allegedly been killed.&nbsp;

The arrest was made after Walker’s father, Vikash Madan Walker, was led to Delhi from Maharashtra’s Palghar district after lodging a missing person complaint in Mumbai. During the interrogation, Aaftab reportedly confessed to the crime and the police had also recovered some bones from their rented apartment in Delhi.&nbsp;

A man named Ramesh Kumar Swain, who married and defrauded 27 women from 10 different states for money is India's 'Tinder Swindler', named after a documentary on Netflix. In the documentary, a notorious man posed as a wealthy heir and wooed women online, then conned them of millions of dollars. In a similar manner, Swain laid elaborate traps and took advantage of the women’s helplessness. Among one of Odisha's most notorious fraudsters, Swain targeted women that were middle-aged, educated, and well-off but were coping with divorce, or had family issues. The good part of the story? The 66-year-old con man was nabbed by the Odisha police for his wrongdoings while he was travelling in a car in the Indian city of Bhubaneswar.&nbsp;
