"Of course, because of COVID, we had to think creatively," said Corey Ross, a co-producer of the exhibit, which was initially slated to start in May and was delayed by the pandemic. 
 
As Canada's largest city gradually comes out of lockdown, the exhibit began this week with two viewing areas in a huge Toronto warehouse: one area with social distancing circles on the ground for those who prefer taking in their art on foot, and another for people in cars that drive right into the building. 
 
Viewing art from inside a car provides a safe experience for people who are physically fragile, fearful of the virus or vulnerable. And it is a unique experience, said Ross. 
 
"You've never had an experience like this in your car," said Ross. "The feeling is almost as if the car is floating through the art." 
 
The show was set up in collaboration with the creators of 'Van Gogh, Starry Night,' a hugely popular exhibit presented last year at l’Atelier des Lumieres in Paris.

The Toronto show features a similar, digital concept: works by the Dutch painter are projected in high definition on walls and floors. 
 
The warehouse has space for up to about 10 cars at a time, parking in designated spots. 
 
Car engines stay off during the projection of the artworks, which is accompanied with music. The paintings are positioned so people can see them through their windshields. 
 
Some people take photos with their kids in their lap as they spend 35 minutes in the bold, intense world of Van Gogh. 
Jessica Counti, 17, came with her family for the first drive-in edition on Friday to celebrate her sister's birthday. 
 
"It's just a really immersive experience that you can't really get in a regular art gallery. So I really appreciate that, even though we can’t walk around art pieces," she said. 
 
Another visitor, Patrick Corcoran, took in the show from the steering wheel of his vintage 1950 Plymouth. &nbsp; 
 
"The whole thing of sitting in your car and being out and enjoying the art –- it was comfortable, it was safe. With all the stuff that’s going on in the world with the COVID, it was an experience. It was great." 
 
Ross said the idea is turning out to be a hit but will just be temporary. "If you're a car enthusiast, it's a very special moment," he said. 
 
"But I think overall as soon as there's an opportunity for the public to go back to experiencing art in the way that we love to, in groups, beside other people, where you can talk and see strangers and see how they react and be part of a community, I think we will go back to that," Ross said. 
 
The art hall for cars is booked almost solid through its end on August 9. 
 
The show will remain open to pedestrians through September.

WE Charity said in a statement on its website the program had been "enmeshed with controversy" since it was announced, and for the good of the program it was best to let the government take over management.

The government said the charity would not profit from its involvement. Trudeau said on Monday that WE Charity was the only group in Canada with the "capacity to deliver the ambitious program."

The ethics commissioner will also investigate whether that statement showed that Trudeau had afforded preferential treatment to WE Charity over other national charities.

Mexico's president said on Wednesday it is "very probable" he will meet with his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump in Washington in July to mark the start of a new North American trade deal, and urged Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to join them.

Singh and Therrien were seen engaged in a heated argument, before Bloc Quebecois MP and party whip Claude DeBellefeuille called on the House of Commons Speaker Anthony Rota to call for order, saying in French that the NDP leader had insulted her colleague and was using unparliamentary language, a media report said.

Singh then rose, and said in French: "It's true, I called him a racist."

When he was asked to apologise, he refused after which House Speaker Rota said that Singh was not able to participate in the remainder of the day's sitting.

"In this moment where Indigenous people are being killed and being brutalised, Black people are being killed and brutalised in Canada. We've not seen any action."

Canada's health chief fears for people's mental health as alcohol consumption spikes

The US has been facing backlash from its citizens for the past week for discriminating against the minority groups. The protests started when an African American man, George Floyd, a suspect in a case was tortured to death by a police officer, even though he was unarmed.

The protests, that started because of this once incident, have been focusing on all the discrimination the African American community faces, and to promote the community.

To help in this cause,&nbsp;Uber Technologies Inc&nbsp;launched a feature on its food delivery app Uber Eats. This feature will allow the customers in the US and Canada to order from restaurants owned specifically by Black people.

The app, in the US and Canada, will bear a banner&nbsp;reading: "Support Black-owned restaurants," under which the customers will be able to find a list of nearby restaurants.

The company has claimed that the new feature has been installed in public demand, and the list of restaurants has been compiled by the staff on local knowledge and research, and public resources.

We thought we were getting bombed or something. That's how hectic it was," a local man, next to whose house the plane crashed, was quoted by local media news network.

The two planes were scheduled to fly over British Columbia as part of a tour dubbed "Operation Inspiration," launched earlier this month to pay tribute to Canadians' efforts to battle the coronavirus pandemic.

The Snowbirds' signature nine-jet formation, with trailing white smoke, began its tour in Nova Scotia and was to perform aerial displays over cities from the Atlantic to the Pacific oceans, at elevations as low as 500 feet (150 meters).
