<p>India sensed an opportunity to make a comeback in the game and the bowlers didn't disappoint as Bangladesh kept losing wickets at regular intervals.&nbsp;Litton was run-out on 60 in the very first over post-resumption before Mohammed Shami struck to get rid of his opening partner Najmul Hossain Shanto on 21 after he started looking dangerous.</p>

<p>Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya then combined to get India back into the game with two wickets apiece. With 20 needed off the final over, Arshdeep managed to hold his nerves against Taskin Ahmed and Nurul Hussain to seal a thrilling 5-run victory for India.</p>

It was a low-scoring thriller between the two sides in Perth as South Africa managed to come out on top after holding their nerves towards the end.</p>

<p>After an excellent effort with the ball to stop India on&nbsp;a paltry 133, South Africa found themselves in troubled waters early in their run chase as Indian bowlers gave the Proteas a taste of their own medicine with the ball.</p>

<p>Arshdeep Singh continued his fine form with the new ball as he struck twice in his very first over to get rid of Quinton de Kock on just one off 3 balls and Rilee Rossouw on a duck.</p>

<p>South African skipper Temba Bavuma too couldn't trouble the scorers much and departed for just 10 off 15 balls as his men were left reeling on 24/3 inside the Powerplay. However, Markram and Miller combined to post a match-winning 76-run stand for the fourth wicket as they helped South Africa stage a comeback in the contest.</p>

<p>After much hullabaloo, India and Pakistan squared off in the fourth game of the Super 12 clash at the T20 World Cup 2022 edition, on Sunday afternoon (October 23). Playing in front of a jam-packed Melbourne Cricket Stadium, Melbourne, the clash was a humdinger which saw Rohit Sharma-led India beat Pakistan by four wickets in a last-over thriller, courtesy of Virat Kohli's majestic 82 not out.</p>

<p>Opting to bowl first, India was off to a good start. The opening bowlers, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Arshdeep Singh got some movement and bounce and curtailed the run-flow. As a result, Pakistan captain Babar Azam shuffled off Arshdeep but was trapped lbw, after missing the ball completely, to be out for a golden duck. Rizwan also followed suit, surprised by a well-executed short ball from Arshdeep (3 for 32).&nbsp;</p>

<p>Shan Masood steadied the ship after the fall of the Pakistani openers. Iftikhar Ahmed, on the other hand, took on Axar Patel and went bonkers with some lusty blows. With Iftikhar adding some vital runs, Rohit brought Md Shami back into the attack and he dismissed him for a 34-ball 51. From thereon, some vital blows from Shaheen Afridi (8-ball 16) and Masood's cautious 42-ball 52 not out took Pakistan to a competitive 159 for 8 in 20 overs. Apart from Arshdeep, Hardik also impressed and returned with 3 for 30.</p>

After being promoted&nbsp;to No. 5,&nbsp;Axar Patel was involved in a&nbsp;mix-up with&nbsp;Kohli and&nbsp;luck favoured the Men in Green as he was run out for 2.</p>

<p>From thereon, Hardik&nbsp;(40 off 37) joined Kohli as the duo stitched an impressive 113-run fifth-wicket stand. While Hardik slowed down as the partnership progressed, however, Kohli -- who has an impeccable record versus Pakistan in T20 WC history -- took on the likes of Shadab Khan, Shaheen, and Md Nawaz to keep India in the hunt.</p>

<p>With 48 needed off 18, Kohli's timely hits brought the equation down to 16 off 6 balls. There was a lot of drama with a wicket, waist-high delivery (which went for a six),&nbsp;a no-ball, a free-hit, etc. bringing down the equation&nbsp;to two off an equal number of balls.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Dinesh Karthik faced the penultimate ball but was stumped out. Eventually, R Ashwin came out to face the last ball. Nawaz bowled a wide before Ashwin&nbsp;struck a boundary to take India home in what was a riveting clash. In an epic thriller, India&nbsp;beat Pakistan by four wickets to open its account in the ongoing T20 WC with a memorable victory.</p>

After being promoted to No. 5, Axar Patel was involved in a mix-up with Kohli and luck favoured the Men in Green as he was run out for 2. From thereon, Hardik (40 off 37) joined Kohli as the duo stitched an impressive 113-run fifth-wicket stand. While Hardik slowed down as the partnership progressed, however, Kohli -- who has an impeccable record versus Pakistan in T20 WC history -- took on the likes of Shadab Khan, Shaheen, and Md Nawaz to keep India in the hunt. With 48 needed off 18, Kohli's timely hits brought the equation down to 16 off 6 balls. There was a lot of drama with a wicket, waist-high delivery (which went for a six), a no-ball, a free-hit, etc. bringing down the equation to two off an equal number of balls. <p>Arshdeep, who was playing his second game against Pakistan, was on the receiving end of vicious abuse and trolling. His Wikipedia page was compromised with fake Khalistani links and the young pacer had to face taunts from fans both on social media and off it.</p>

<p>But cricket is a great leveller and it presented Arshdeep with an opportunity to redeem himself as he made his T20 World Cup debut in the high-profile clash against Pakistan on Sunday. <p>Making the most of the movement on offer at the MCG, Arshdeep bowled a beautiful inswinger to trap Babar plumb in front of the wicket and sent him packing on a duck before returning to get the better of Rizwan in his second over in the game.</p>

<p>Arshdeep Singh has not let the vicious abuse and brutal trolling on social media dampen his confidence as he looked in great spirits in India's Super Four clash against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2022 on Tuesday. Arshdeep was targeted by trolls on social media after he dropped a sitter&nbsp;in India's game against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday.</p>

<p>After he spilt the catch, India went on to lose the game by five wickets as Arshdeep faced horrific abuse on social media. Though he couldn't win India the game against Sri Lanka on Tuesday, he gave his all trying to defend seven runs off the last over as India went down by six wickets to lose their second game in a row in the Super Four.</p>

<p>When asked about how the players deal with online abuse and trolling, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma said the Indian team ignores social media. Rohit said there is too much crap happening online and lauded Arshdeep for bowling with confidence against Sri Lanka despite all the criticism after his mistake against Pakistan.</p>
