Manchester City's boss Pep Guardiola hailed his team's performance as the title holders registered a 5-0 win on Saturday at Cardiff City Stadium.
Despite a shocking defeat 2-0 against Lyon in Champions League, Man City rebounded with a stunning Sergio Aguero's opener on his 300th appearance for the club.
Club's manager Guardiola said the team was dynamic and produced a good performance in the first half of the game.
"I think we played better than the Fulham game (beat Fulham 3-0 on 15th September). We were more dynamic and after the not good result in the mid-week (lost 2-1 to Lyon in Champions League), we responded again in the same level that we had the last 12, 13 months," said Manchester City's manager Pep Guardiola.
"We made a good performance the first 20, 25 minutes, always it's complicated, it's not easy. But after one or two goals, immediately after it was easier, especially in the second half."
"At zero-three (half-time score), you are always relaxed, forget to do what you have to do. We were consistent, we didn't suffer too much, we created a good game and good chances."
"For one bad result, two, three, four, I don't know how many are going to happen, nothing is going to change my opinion with them."
"They know how when the situation is not good in terms of the result, the closer I am to them."
"They deserve all my respect. They have made me happy more than the last one year and two seasons and that's why. Always I will be there with them," he concluded.
