Having won the last three Premier League titles on the trot, City is on the verge of creating history by winning it for the fourth time this season – becoming the first team from this competition to achieve this feat. Although they sit at the top position with 88 points from 37 matches, with Arsenal at the second spot (86 points), City must win its last league game against West Ham at home on Sunday (May 19) to clinch the title.
On the other hand, Arsenal must also beat Everton and hope for West Ham to beat City or play a draw (considering permutations and combinations), helping them lift their second Premier League title.
"It would mean everything to me after finishing last season and what we achieved then. We'restill in two competitions,we'vegot two finals leftandwe'llgive everything to try and achieve success and try and do the Premier League four times, which has neverbeen donebefore.
"It would mean a lot to us.It'shistory, and Idon'tthink I can ever see itbeing doneagain. It'ssomething the team knows; the team understandsandwe'relooking forward to trying to get it done,”Foden said last Thursday.
Besides, City will also play their biggest rivals,Manchester United, in the FA Cup final on May 25 at Wembley.
