I have lost my hair, not right to cast an evil eye on remaining ones: Trinamool leader's comical response

I have lost my hair, not right to cast an evil eye on remaining" Trinamool leader's comical response

An exchange of words between the ruling party Trinamool Congress and the opposition BJP erupted over the brutal rape and murder of a 31-year-old trainee doctor in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. A Trinamool spokesperson wrote a comical reply to a BJP leader’s comment in which she threatened to pull his hair.

Trinamool spokesperson, Kunal Ghosh, in response, wrote that he has already lost most of his hair and it is not right to cast an evil eye on the remaining ones.

“Papiya Adhikari, a former actress, then CPM and then BJP leader, has publicly threatened to slap me and pull my hair. I have lost my hair. It is not right to cast an evil eye on them. Instead, suggest medicines that may help hair growth,” Ghose posted on his X account in his native language, Bangla, and urged her to keep gaining publicity with her statements.

Ghose has been the voice of the Mamata Banerjee-led party’s position in the horrific rape-murder of the trainee doctor. He has been getting constant criticism from the opposition parties, includingthe BJP and CPM. Many highlighted the case of the Shardha group in which he was arrested.

In response to all this hatred, he defended himself by saying, “Yes, I was in jail but not guilty and still fighting the legal battle.”

The ongoing political dispute over the doctor’s rape and murder at the state-controlled hospital has seen various instances where the opposition and the current leading party shared a harsh exchange of comments.

Earlier, the senior Trinamool leader and MP Ghose Dastidar made headlines for calling BJP MLA and fashion designer Agnimitra Paul a “saree maker.” In response, Paul replied that she is very proud of her profession.
