Back in August 2021, the apex body had announced the establishment of a working group to pursue cricket’s inclusion in the 2028 Los Angeles and 2032 Brisbane Summer Games, with representatives from the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), USA Cricket and Zimbabwe Cricket, all included.&nbsp;

However, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) officially added cricket among the five new sports in the LA28 Olympic program at the 141st IOC session held over a year ago.

"Yeah man, it's all good," he said as quoted by the Sydney Morning Herald. In response to whether the decision upset him, the bowler added, "I am going to the gym now," brushing aside further enquiries.

On Saturday, with Australia in pole position, Head smashed Siraj for a six in the 82nd over, sparking anger for the Indian bowler. However, that&nbsp;was followed by Siraj getting the big wicket of Head after which both players were seen exchanging heated words.

Both players then spoke on the incident in a press conference and to the broadcasters, as they cleared their stance.

The heated argument did no harm to Head, as he was named Player of the Match having helped Australia continue their near-perfect record in pink-ball Tests.

Head scored 140 which set the tone for the hosts’ comeback into the series as India now struggle to reach the World Test Championship (WTC) final.

With South Africa winning against Sri Lanka, India now sit outside the top two and could miss out on a place in the WTC final if results don’t improve with three matches to go.

BGT 2024-25: 'Good carry, pace and bounce,' awaits India at Gabba says pitch curator

Opening batsman Brandon King and fast bowler Jayden Seales starred as West Indies cruised to a series-clinching seven-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the second ODI on Tuesday.

Having dismissed Bangladesh for 227, the home side completed their chase with 79 balls to spare, following their five-wicket triumph on the same ground on Sunday.

King shared an opening stand of 109 with Evin Lewis who made 49 from 62 deliveries with two fours and four sixes.

He then put on 66 with Keacy Carty before his innings was ended by a blistering yorker from promising young fast bowler Nahid Rana.

Carty made 45 before skipper Shai Hope (17) and Sherfane Rutherford (24) guided their side home on 230-3.

Rutherford wrapped up the win with a huge six off Shoriful Islam.

"We were clinical. We've been struggling to win series at home, but we hope to finish 3-0 now," said Hope who already has one eye on the 2027 World Cup after the West Indies failed to qualify for the 2023 tournament.

"Every game is important, we're trying to earn points and get up on the ladder to ensure we make the next ODI World Cup."

Earlier Seales took a career-best 4-22 from nine overs.
