After much deliberation and earlier denials to agree to it, the PCB accepted the model, finalising Dubai as the venue for all India games.
&ldquo;It's only an hour-and-40-minute flight, but the fact that we had to do that [was not ideal],&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;It's early morning, it's after a game, and we had to fly. Then we got to Dubai at 4 pm. And at 7.30 in the morning we had to come back. It doesn't make it nice. It's not like we flew five hours, and we had enough time to recover and recuperate. They just love their cricket over here and that's probably the biggest difference I've found," she said.

I think Ash plays a massive role in helping us feel comfortable to just perform, play freely and have so much fun. She's a very laid-back character and continues to do that with her captaincy and pretty much leads from the front with her actions. Regarding the team's objectives for the season, she stressed their goal of making history for Gujarat Giants. "To make finals. I think that's the biggest thing for our team. It's never been done in Gujarat's history so hopefully we can tick that box off. Obviously, it would be amazing to make the final and win it but the first step is to make the finals in Mumbai."
Phoebe also shared insights about adjusting bowling tactics given the batting-friendly conditions in recent matches. She admitted that while she is not directly involved in bowling strategies, Phoebe believes the key remains execution. "I'm not in the bowling meetings because I'm not a bowler but I don't think it changes much. It's probably nice that these types of wickets come now once we've had six to seven games to practice our bowling. It just comes down to execution. We know what we need to do, we've planned, we know the people we'll come up against. It's purely about executing at the top of your mark and reducing those boundary balls."

His knock showcased his exceptional fitness, with 56 singles and four twos forming the bulk of his runs.&nbsp;"My approach depends on the conditions. I focused on my timing, stayed composed, and didn&rsquo;t feel rushed. The singles I took were the most satisfying part of my innings," he added.
Kohli highlighted the mental aspect of the game, stressing the importance of handling pressure.&nbsp;"If you go deep into the game, the opposition usually gives in. Controlling impulses is key. Even if the required run rate is six per over, I don&rsquo;t worry," he explained.
When asked if he was in the best phase of his ODI career, the Indian maestro remained unfazed.&nbsp;"I don&rsquo;t know. That&rsquo;s for others to analyse. I never focus on those things. Milestones happen when you don&rsquo;t chase them. If I reach a hundred, great, but the win is what matters. Those things don&rsquo;t concern me anymore," Kohli signed off.
