
The passengers were shouting and scared for their lives when the Royal Caribbean cruise ship tilted due to the freak weather.
In the video, the huge Royal Caribbean cruise ship was seen tilting “45 degrees” inthe Atlantic Ocean and the passengers lost their grip in the scenario. The video went viral on the social media platforms.
As per the reports, a squall had hit the ship that tilted off the coast of Africa.
As per Cruise Hive, the incident happened on the Explorer of the Seas of the Royal Caribbean on November 7. The winds, carrying the strength of the hurricane, tilted the 137,308-gross-tonne vessel to its side and led to chaos onboard.
In the dramatic video which went viral online, people onboard the ship were seen in chaos as furniture smashed and passengers found it difficult to remain upright.
In the video, plates and glasses were seen shattered on the ground and crew members were seen trying to pacify panicked passengers.
More than 5,000 crew and passengers were present on the Explorer of the Seas when the weather forced it to tip towards one side.
However, no major injuries happened on the ship and some passengers and crew members had minor cuts and bruises.

The video went viral on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and received more than 22 million views and hundreds of comments.
Taking to Facebook, one passenger wrote, “I’m on the ship too, scary as hell in the dining room with plates smashing everywhere, people screaming and tables & food all over the place.”
Reacting to the video on X, a user wrote, "And this is why I will never go on a cruise lol."
"The way I’d be walking around with my life jacket on," said another user.
"Woman wants to divorce husband of 25 years over 'simple' habit - but people agree with her," wrote a third user.
"This is rare, as cruise ships are huge and have underwater stabilizers. I went on a 7-day Caribbean cruise once and it was amazing. 10/10 would do it again," stated a fourth user.
"You sure they aren't just dancing?," commented a fifth user.
