Singing sensation and actress Selena Gomez enjoys a massive fan following on her social media accounts. With 125 million followers on Instagram, she is one of the most active celebrities who likes to interact with her fan base now and then.
On Monday, however, her Instagram account was hacked and nude pictures of her ex-beau Justin Beiber was posted. Soon after, her account was taken down and secured before it could be made active again. The nude pitcures are obviously deleted.
It all happened in a span of a few minutes.
Kirsten Stubbs, the digital Marketing Director at Gomez’s label, Interscope Records, tweeted that the record company took down the account “to ensure it's secure before relaunching.”
The images that were leaked on the hacked Selena account were of Justin Bieber's trip to Bora Bora with beauty blogger Jayde Pierce in 2015, according to theE! News. In 2015, the censored images were originally posted in the New York Daily News and Beieber had spoken about being "super violated".
