Historic debate
Trump and Harris faced-off on Tuesday (Sep 10) in what was undeniably a historic debate, full of power-packed verbal punches. There are many moments that made this debate historic, least of all, Harris initiating a handshake with Trump.
Right off the bat, zingers were flying. From Trump slamming Harris's alleged lack of economic policy and merely copying President Joe Biden, to Kamala hitting back at him for "insulting to the women of America" by his abortion policies, the debate had memorable moments and quotes.
A make-or-break moment for the two candidates, the debate has significantly helped the Democratic Party recover from the disaster that was the Joe Biden vs Donald Trump Presidential debate.
Throughout the debate, Harris riled up Trump and got under his skin, as her campaign had forecast.
At one point, she invited people to Trump's rallies where he says bizarre things like windmills cause cancer, and from where Harris said a bored audience leave out of boredom.
Trump, who prides himself on the big crowds his rallies draw, was clearly riled and replied angrily, "My rallies, we have the biggest rallies, the most incredible rallies in the history of politics". He even accused Harris of busing in attendees at her rallies.
Trump repeatedly lost his cool, to Harris's advantage, as she commented, he lacks the "temperament" to be president.
