Recently dismissed Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has issued a sharp political challenge to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, calling for a wartime presidential election. In a video address, Fedorov argued that Ukraine must find a legal and safe mechanism to restore its democratic processes despite the ongoing Russian invasion, stating that democracy cannot be held hostage by the war.
