Winter storm dumps snow across southern Germany
A thick blanket of snow has enveloped Southern Germany, Prague and other parts of Europe. Transportation in these regions has also taken a hit. Hundreds of commuters have been left stranded in Germany's Munich and Bavaria as a snowstorm paralysed the country's air and rail transport.
