Vietnam announces National Day cash handouts worth $380 million
To mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the Vietnamese government will distribute a 100,000 VND (approx. 3.79 USD) gift to every citizen. The Prime Minister issued an official directive on August 28 to facilitate the rollout.
