US: Sarah Palin loses comeback bid, Peltola wins 51.47% votes for Alaska house seat
Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin has lost her bid to occupy the States vacancy in the US House of Representatives to Democrat member Mary Peltola. With this, Peltola is set to become the first Alaskan native to serve in the house, and also the first woman to hold the seat.
