The United States has carried out a fresh wave of strikes on Iran after President Donald Trump warned of a stronger military response following Tehran's alleged attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Explosions were reported in southern Iran, including the port cities of Bandar Abbas and Sirik. Trump described the operation as retaliation and warned that any further attacks by Iran would trigger an even harsher response.
