US bill pushes Bytedance to divest Tiktok

A bipartisan group of US lawmakers has put forward a new bill targeting China's Bytedance and its popular short video app TikTok. The legislation introduced on Tuesday aims to force by turns to divest TikTok within 6 months or face a US Ban citing concerns over National Security due to its Chinese ownership.
