Union Budget 2020: Rs 22,000 Cr allocated for power and renewable energy sector

The Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has proposed an outlay of Rs 22,000 crore for power and renewable energy sector for FY Budget 2020-21. This is the second budget for Sitharaman, who became the second woman finance minister after Indira Gandhi to do so in the history of independent India.
