UK: Labour accuses Tory leaders of lavish spending

The Conservative government has been charged by Labour with approving "lavish expenditure" on hotels, hospitality, and other expenses with taxpayer-funded debit cards. The costs were emphasised in a Labour assessment on government debit card spending in 2021.
