Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) chief Aleksandr Bortnikov accused the UK of orchestrating Ukrainian attacks on internationally-owned energy sites in Russia. According to Bortnikov, British intelligence officers and commandos helped plan drone strikes on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium and are plotting further sabotage on the TurkStream gas pipeline. He also alleged UK involvement in cross-border raids and targeted assassinations inside Russia. Moscow says these actions prolong the Ukraine conflict and threaten energy security, while Ukraine reports continued strikes on Russian military targets.
