Uganda has struck a deal with Washington to accept migrants deported from the United States but only under strict conditions.
Deportees with criminal records or unaccompanied minors will not be allowed.
Uganda joins Rwanda, South Sudan, and Eswatini in taking deportees, even as the East African nation already hosts nearly 2 million refugees.
Critics say the U.S. is shifting its migration crisis onto Africa.
