President Donald Trump’s administration has filed an emergency request with the U.S. Supreme Court seeking to lift a lower court-ordered halt and greenlight construction on a massive White House ballroom project. Estimated to cost between $400 million and $600 million, the controversial project involves demolishing the former East Wing.
