TikTok to launch an e-commerce platform

TikTok in the United States has not been in the state's good books for privacy concerns but it is now taking a step ahead to sell China-made goods in the United States by launching an e-commerce platform in the country. Reportedly the platform will be launched in early August. The idea is to give TikTok an edge over other competitors.
