Spain Train Collision Kills At Least 21 After High-Speed Crash In Cordoba

At least 21 people have been killed after a high-speed train derailed and collided with another oncoming train in southern Spain, police sources said. The crash occurred near Adamuz in Cordoba, about 360 kilometres south of Madrid. Authorities said around 75 people were hospitalised, with 15 in serious condition. The head of Andalusia’s regional government, Juanma Moreno, warned the death toll could rise as rescue teams continue operations. The cause of the crash remains unknown, according to Spain’s transport minister.
