Spain has declared a high alert after detecting multiple cases of African Swine Fever (ASF) in wild boars near Barcelona, marking the first outbreak since 1994. Authorities suspect the virus may have spread through contaminated food, such as a sandwich eaten by a boar, and have mobilized hundreds of police, rangers, and military personnel to contain the outbreak.
