Researchers from South Korea's KAIST and Stanford University have developed robotic clothing that helps people dress without using their hands or assistance from others. The technology uses soft, air-powered "vines" embedded in fabric that gently pull clothing into place. Scientists say the innovation could benefit semiconductor cleanrooms, emergency responders and people with limited mobility.
