Pakistan's capital of Islamabad is under strict security lockdown ahead of the gathering of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The Pakistani government has announced a 3-day public holiday in Islamabad with schools colleges and restaurants and businesses shut and large contingents of police and paramilitary forces deployed.
