"It's a very significant moment for all of us - the Romans and the British public as a whole because what we are seeing is the first official portrait of King Charles and in addition to that we are also marking the service and dedication of Queen Elizabeth II on over many years on the throne," said Chris Barker, Information and Research Manager at Royal Mint Museum.
