President Murmu Gives Nod to Gaming Ban

President Droupadi Murmu has given nod to the promotion and regulation of online gaming bill.
The law bans all online money gaming platforms,
Imposing penalties of up to three years imprisonment and fines of up to 1 crore rupees for facilitators.
The bill was passed in record time,
With the lok sabha approving it in seven minutes and the rajya sabha in just 26 minutes amid opposition protests over procedural concerns.
