Philippine ferry fire: Fire breaks out aboard M/V June Aster near tourist hotspot
At least five people have died and 86 are missing after a fire broke out aboard the MV June Aster ferry near the Philippine tourist hotspot of Coron. The vessel was carrying 117 passengers and 17 crew members when the blaze erupted, with strong currents and thick smoke hampering rescue and firefighting efforts.
