Paris accuses Baku of interference & stoking protests

At least seven people, including two police officers, have been killed and hundreds wounded in more than a week of violence sparked by controversial voting reforms in France's Pacific territory of New Caledonia. The French government has sent in thousands of extra police forces over the past week to help restore calm. French president, Emmanuel Macron, on a one-day visit to the archipelago on Thursday, declared a pause in the reform and conceded that more talks were needed. Additionally, Paris has accused Baku of interference and being behind protests & violence after Azerbaijani flags were seen alongside Kanak symbols at the protests. Baku though, has denied the allegations of interference.
