Nigeria: crime cripples education, erodes trust in Nigerian govt
Mass kidnappings and armed violence are crippling Nigeria’s education system and eroding trust in the government. A new SBM Intelligence report says kidnappers collected 7.78 billion naira ($5.79 million) in ransoms between July 2025 and June 2026.
