Myanmar grants amnesty and frees around 4,900 prisoners to mark traditional New Year

Nearly about 5,000 inmates have been freed in Myanmar under a new year amnesty, but there is no sign of any political prisoners like Aung San Suu Kyi. The release ordered by the junta chief Min Aung Hlaing coincides with the Thingyan festival. 13 foreign nationals will also be freed and deported. Watch in for more details!
