Meta Appeals Against Verdict Holding It Accountable for Social Media Addiction

In March, a court verdict in U.S. took tech giants by a storm. It held Meta accountable for designing social media platforms that are harmful to young people. Meta has now challenged this verdict, citing a federal law which exempts online platforms from liability for user-generated content.
