After the American fast-food chain McDonald's joked about an imaginary cryptocurrency 'Grimacecoin' in response to Elon Musk's tweet on the chain to accept Dogecoin as a payment option, a newly minted 'Grimacecoin' showed up on various crypto exchanges with its valuation surging 285,000% before the downfall.
