Defence secretary: 'DRDO must focus on tech research, while industry produces'

Defence Secretary Rajesh Singh has called on DRDO to narrow its focus from 37 projects to around 10 cutting-edge technologies, with industry taking a larger role in production. He also outlined a greater role for private firms in missile system integration and defence exports.
