Indonesia has launched a mass measles vaccination campaign after a deadly outbreak in East Java killed 17 children, most of whom were unvaccinated. Over 2,000 infections have been reported, with the Sumenep district hit hardest. Authorities are urging parents, community, and religious leaders to support immunization efforts to prevent further fatalities. The campaign aims to vaccinate 78,000 children aged 9 months to 6 years.
