Jihadist Terror: NCRB Report Lists India's Murder Rate at Lowest Ever

India has recorded a massive drop in extremist, insurgent and terrorist violence in 2023. according to the ncrb 2023 report, total incidents fell from 446 in 2022 to just 163 in 2023. the most dramatic reduction was seen in jihadi terrorism, down from 126 to just 15 cases. violence linked to north-east insurgents and left-wing extremism also declined significantly. this is a major achievement in india's internal security landscape.
