Israel to advance bill limiting judicial powers amid nationwide protests

The Knesset's constitution, law and justice committee will resume legislation on Israel's controversial judicial reform today amid protests across the country. The committee will advance a bill which seeks to bar the power of the supreme court to block executive decisions based on the "Extreme unreasonableness doctrine".
