Iran has launched a new wave of ballistic missiles at Israel amid the ongoing regional conflict, with several projectiles reportedly striking areas around Jerusalem and central Israel. Emergency services say at least five people were wounded in the Jerusalem area after an impact, while separate strikes caused deaths and multiple injuries in Beit Shemesh and other communities. Footage circulating online indicates some missiles may have evaded Israel’s multi-layered missile defenses, raising concerns over the growing capability of Iranian weaponry and the limits of interception systems such as Iron Dome and others.
