Iran Warns “Regret-Inducing Response” as Hezbollah Says Attack Would Target Group

Iran has warned that any hostile action against it would elicit a “comprehensive and regret-inducing response,” as tensions rise in the Middle East amid increased US and allied military presence. The Iranian Foreign Ministry said Tehran is confident in its defensive capabilities and prepared to respond to aggression. Meanwhile, Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem stated that any attack on Iran would also be viewed as an attack on the group, warning that a new war could ignite the region.
