Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has lifted all limits on the country’s missile range, signaling a major shift in Tehran’s defense posture after the June conflict with Israel and the U.S.
A senior Iranian lawmaker confirmed that the missile program will continue to develop without restriction, describing missile range as the most important element of military power.
This comes after Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accused Israel of deceiving the U.S. regarding Iran’s missile ambitions, and after senior officials rejected U.S. proposals to limit missile capabilities.
While Iran remains open to nuclear negotiations, officials insist that missile range will not be restricted, underscoring Tehran’s commitment to maintaining its defense capabilities.
