A major India-Russia co-production is bringing cultural collaboration to the big screen, with the film shot across Mumbai, Udaipur and Jodhpur. The musical comedy, Persimmon of My Love, marks the first large-scale cinematic collaboration between the two countries in decades.
Filmed entirely in India using Bollywood-style production, the project blends Russian storytelling with Indian cinematic elements. Locations in Mumbai studios and Rajasthan’s Udaipur and Jodhpur were used to create a visually rich setting, highlighting India’s cultural and architectural heritage.
The film is seen as a step forward in cultural and creative ties between India and Russia, reviving a long-standing cinematic connection.
