India: Government postpones NEET medical entrance exam; fresh dates to be 'announced soon'

The chief of the National Testing Agency (NTA) Subodh Kumar Singh has been replaced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government amid massive row over alleged irregularities in the medical entrance exam NEET and university teaching entrance UGC-NET. Meanwhile, the NEET-PG Entrance Examination scheduled to be held on June 23 has been postponed. "The fresh date of this examination will be notified at the earliest," Union ministry of health said in a statement.
